Good thoughts about Allah

We are in a state of mixed emotions right now!! I could have done better.. How did Ramadan slip away so soon?  Why couldn't I attain what I wanted? So many questions lingering in our minds.. Husn al-Zann billah Have good thoughts about Allah. "I am as My servant thinks I am (or expects Me to be)" [Sahih Bukhari 7405, Sahih Muslim 2675]. We are humans and cannot be perfect but can strive to do Ihsan. Let's ask Allah humbly to accept our broken deeds and have mercy on us.. Always remember it is our efforts that Allah is looking at. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "Be steadfast and aim for perfection, and rejoice, for no one will enter Paradise because of his deeds alone," and when asked if this included him, he replied, "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in His mercy".

Loving Ramadan🌙

The thought about the special month of Ramadan excites the entire Muslim world. It is a feeling believers feel from deep within which cannot be expressed in words.  The warmth and peace lingers in the air, indeed a Blessed Month. But do our children also anticipate for the arrival of Ramadan? As parents and teachers, it is our duty to enlighten and spread the joy of Ramadan into their little hearts. Let’s try some ideas to inculcate the love of Ramadan in our children. 🗨️Talk about the month, not just when it is almost Ramadan.  Make them understand it is a “BIG DEAL”. This will make them wait for the month eagerly. ⭕Make halaqas for children of same age to allow them to share their views and thoughts about Ramadan. If not possible personally, an online meet involving lots of activities, fun crafts and online games will always keep them on their toes. Make sure you tell them the real purpose of fasting. “O You who believe! Fasting is prescribed upon you as it was prescribed o...

Before Ramadan ends...

As the moon diminishes little by little every night our hearts ache to think Ramadan is leaving us way too soon. As we approach the remaining days of this beautiful month I would like to remind myself and other Muslimahs to keep trying because Allah is definitely seeing our efforts. We cannot keep aside our responsibilities, our families and unexpected stuff that come in between. "Not a leaf falls but that He knows it." " (6:59) then what makes us think Allah doesn't know our situation. We are exactly where Allah want us to be. With Allah's help we can do much more than we think we can. Let us pray we all have the health, barakah in our time and we be able to utilize these days as much as we can. Always remember "It's not how you start the race but how you end the race that matters " https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1751027894975787&id=125140660897860

Embracing Ramadan in its true spirit

We enter the month of Ramadan with a lot of joy and excitement in our hearts, but we Muslim mummies also have anxiety deep inside about how to manage home, kids, school, iftars and suhoors, and not to forget taraweeh. This is the time that calls for effective planning and efficient usage of time. Planning always makes affairs smooth, but we also have to keep in mind that everything might not go as per plan. This is the reason why we must have realistic goals and understand that Ramadan is first and foremost a time for ibadah. To make the most of this blessed month, here are a few things we can do that’ll help us reap maximum rewards, while keeping us positively charged : 1. The first step is of course, to make sincere dua to Allah to make our affairs easy. Accept the fact that Allah has placed us exactly where we need to be, and Allah is all knowing. This will help us in getting rid of any unnecessary anxiety and pressure. 2. Ramadan is indeed the month of mercy, and its blessings re...

Ramadan and YOU!!

It's that time of the year again … peace, happiness, and excitement filling the hearts already. As we enter this month, we have lots of goals in mind and are full energy. But after a week or so, the spirit reduces. May Allah help us be consistent throughout Ramadan. Ameen! During this month, there is a drastic change in our daily routines and sometimes our responsibilities as a wife, daughter, or mother take away a big portion of the day, leaving us feeling guilty for not using time wisely. Fulfilling our duties in Dunya and at the same time being able to do enough ibadah can be achieved only with the help of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى). Here are some tips that might help you strike that balance: 🌙 Make lots of dua that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) makes it easy for you, and that you are able achieve satisfaction in your actions. 🌙 Remember: without health, nothing is possible. Make sure that you drink lots of water, get some sleep, and not overeat at iftar. 🌙 Spread the ...
